Seasonal Work List

  1. Pruning

January to February is the optimal time for pruning. Doing so right before the plant starts looking for food ensures new growth. Before the chlorophyll starts flowing in greater quantities during summer, I like to channel it into the branches to help with overall health of the plant. By pruning out dying, diseased, damaged branches, we encourage stronger growth within the rest of the plant.

  2. Feeding

March is the time to choose a good organic food to apply after pruning, allowing it to break down, so by the time time Summer hits, our plants have the resources they need.
